Default mControl and Windows Home Server (Beta)

mControl and Windows Home Server (Beta)

We've been fortunate to beta the upcoming Windows Home Server technology. We believe it will be a great platform for the "Digital Home" because first and foremost, it gives a convenient and easy way to manage digital media. But secondly, and importantly to Embedded Automation, it provides a great platform for mControl. With Windows Home Server, mControl can be "always on" and is conveniently located via Ethernet and other interfaces. The combination of mControl and Windows Home Server is just another piece of the digital home puzzle falling into place.

Additional pictures and comments:
1. mServer with Windows Home Server: http://www.embeddedautomation.com/im...%20Server).jpg - Windows Home Server was very easy to load and configure. Definitely a step in the right direction for digital media management.
2. mControl on Windows Home Server: http://www.embeddedautomation.com/im...%20Server).JPG - WOW! Windows Home Server and mControl use so little of a 800MHz system, even we were impressed.
