Default Insteon Virtual 3 or 4 Way setup

If I have several multi-linked/multi-way Virtual 3-way & 4-way switch setups in my home and want to know how these should be added to mControl. Do the switch acting as slave switches need to be added or is just adding the Master enough. If the master switch is turned on & off will the status on the slave switches be updated?

Thanks
Mack

Mack,

Please excuse the delayed reply.

You will need to add the slave switches as well as the master switch and reverse link them back to the PowerLinc in order to view the status of the switches in the mControl interface. Also, in order to control the slave switches directly from mControl, they must have the load wire connected to the load wire of the light source or the appliance.

Only if they are linked to the PowerLinc. Once the switches change status, they report back to the PowerLinc and the PowerLinc reports back to mControl.
