dear all,
Am consulting for a client with KP electronics receiving Device - RCI3300 - http://www.sourcesecurity.com/techni...s-rci3300.html or http://www.sourcesecurity.com/docs/f...300RCI4000.pdf the client was earlier using DOS based SIMS software that clashed due to disk failure. Am looking into creating a local custom solution for the client. Am working with vb.net and so far am able to emulate the serial port after connecting the device to the PC. The output am getting from the device is in the following format; 80 00 18 E0 18 80 98 98 9E 98 06 98 86 66 00 C3 00 98 E6 80 98 80 00 18 E0 18 80 98 98 9E 98 06 98 86 66 00 C3 00 98 E6 80 98 80 00 18 E0 18 80 98 98 9E 98 06 98 86 66 00 C3 00 98 E6 80 98 80 00 18 E0 18 80 98 98 9E 98 06 98 86 66 00 C3 00 98 E6 80 98 80 00 18 E0 18 80 98 98 9E 98 06 98 86 66 00 C3 00 98 E6 80 98 80 00 18 E0 18 80 98 98 9E 98 06 98 86 66 00 C3 00 98 E6 80 98 80 00 18 E0 18 80 98 98 9E 98 06 98 86 66 00 C3 00 98 E6 80 98 80 00 18 E0 18 80 98 98 9E 98 06 98 86 66 00 C3 00 98 Anyone kindly assist me with any DLL files or SDK that can assist me to easily interact with the device or interpret signals from the device. You should obtain the communications protocol with this device then you can use the DDK to write your own driver for mControl. Look at the sample driver http://www.embeddedautomation.com/fo...ead.php?t=1435 that was written by jakub32 (source code is available with the driver).
