Is it me or Version 3 ?
I'm trying to use Insteon PLM 2448a7 with mControl Insteon Ctrl adapter. According to Insteon the software is same as PLM 2413U. I have the PLM 2448a7 configured to use serial port COM3 but I don't see any Insteon devices. I've even managed to link Insteon devices to PLM as Responder. I've tried Togglelinc and Triggerlinc devices and can't see either of these devices in mControl. |

Thanks for the response, it sounds like I should buy a 2413U PLM.
Diz: I'm not clear on what you mean by adding to mControl, as this is the step I am unable to achieve using 2448A7 PLM. Could you detail how you did this. I've added mControl devices using the Embedded Automation Adapter (Isy99), I simply select the Insteon device type (eg Switch On/Off) and mControl gives a list of Insteon devices addresses from which to choose. Is this how mControl devices are created with the 2413U PLM ? |
