I purchased V3 today. It's installed, but the license screen for the Base package reads "tampered." I have a license key, but attempts to paste that in as an extension fails to fix that. The other options (purchase, activate) are not clickable.
I have a ticket open with customer support, no response... Does anyone know the correct process to enter a license key under these circumstances? -Alan |

I had the same problem with install on WHS 2011, in the end I used to recovery option WHS 2011 went back to date when I had the trial V3 running. If you then put your new licence in one by one for modules it shows as registered correctly. You then have to uninstall mcontrol v3 add remove programs do not delete any folders and reinstall new version. It finds the registered licences and it all works find. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the post. Unfortunately, have nothing to roll back to... I had installed a beta release or two in the past, and had too many problems and unstalled them (with Revo Uninstaller). Never got proper licensing working on them either, was a chronic 'tampered' on the betas as well.
I assume the betas have left some cruft (registry or file) behind that Revo didn't find... |

And still waiting.... unbelievable that EA customer support keeps me waiting for days after purchase on a licensing issue.
