I found this on the archive forum:

1. Upon plugging in a CM19A, Windows may recognize and load the drivers automatically, if not, please go to the "third party" directory and load the CM19A drivers (X10drivers.exe). In Vista, run as administrator - ignore errors.
2. Load the AHScript software component, which is the software interface for both the CM15A and CM19A adapters. Go to the "third party" directory and run "ahscript_setup.exe". In Vista, run as administrator - ignore errors. One user had problems but installed using XPSP2 compatibility.
3. Remember to change mServer.exe.xml file for the CM15A driver to use "RF" instead of "PLC".

These don't necessarily have to be done in order.

however, I can install the X10drivers.exe file but I cannot load the AHScript software component. "ahscript_setup.exe" I get dll runtime errors everytime.

It says to ignore the errors, but i doubt that it is done correctly.

Also How do I get mcontrol to register screw in lamp modules. I have been through the setup guide numerous times, but I cannot figure out to confirm.

RGoolsby,

Can you send your log files (located in the C:\Program Files\Embedded Automation\mControl\logs directory) to support at embeddedautomation dot com. Also indicate the model # of the lamp devices you are trying to control.
