I can no longer access the mControl silverlight editor locally on my WHS Classic box or remotely on my LAN after uninstalling v3 and installing v3.0.1

Here's the screenshot of the error on the local PC:

And one from a PC on the LAN:

I get the same error on FF, IE, and Chrome.

Did you follow the Quick Start Installation Guide for WHS classic ? I found a lot of steps had to be redone, including installation of Silverlight. It was not a pretty process, I was surprised at how much had to be redone, but in the end it worked out for me.

I followed them for the initial install, but I didn't repeat them. I'll try that and report back.

Thanks,

Re-running the IIS setup and silverlight configuration from the initial setup instructions fixed it.

Thanks satwar!

when I try to start IIS i only got the error msg: no WAS was found on computer !

Why?

I think that a smart Home application like this should be less painful to install ! :(
