Hi all, I got an MCE remote interface working on Mcontrol. So you can play, pause, navigate..etc.. Check out the youtube vid.. Enjoy!

The button response is still a bit sluggish. Ive tried to lower the automation commands delay but that didn't give much effect. It will need some more tweaking. Ill also be hiring a graphic designer soon to make the interface look all pretty :)
Hadi,
This is very cool.
How are you addressing multiple media center extenders in an installation. (e.g. Where you have 2 or more extenders, perhaps Xbox 360s, driven from a single windows media center PC)?
Are the extenders able to be controlled independantly - an extender in a media room, and an extender in a family room - with 2 or more users each accessing the control interface independantly (from 2 iPads maybe...)
Thanks

Thanks for the comment. My driver actually does not control the MCE directly. It controls it through the WMC driver in mcontrol (this way i dont have to re-invent the wheel). So this means that I can have as many MCEs as I want :)
By the way, does anybody know of a universal remote product.. That has a receiver you connect to the network, teach it commands.. then log in from a web browser and control whatever AV equipment. What I want to do is discontinue the interface im doing.. and when you click "More" button just like i did in the video.. i just want to launch another website to another ip (which is the IP of this universal remote control system). Does anybody know any products that match this profile?
