Someone posted this earlier and was flamed. But I am going to post again anyway.

Either I am just stupid, or on this site once a post has dropped off the "New Posts" search, it is gone forever. There is not "Active Posts" or "My Posts" searches on this site. If I try to search posts for my user ID, I only get X number of results, and the latest is back in April of 09 (I have posted several times since then).

If you try to navigate into the Forums, you get a screen full of Stickys, some 3 and 4 years old, and maybe 1 new post. But there isn't a way to go to the next "page" and see older posts.

So unless you can search for an exact phrase to find the post, it seems like you are SOL. I guess I should start subscribing to threads in which I am interested, because there is no other way to browse around this forum site.

We can't even get 'em to update mcontrol software. I doubt the forum is a big concern. :p

I believe I remember having this problem a while ago. You might want to check your account preferences, namely the "Default Thread Age Cutoff." I have mine set to "Show all threads."

That option is found in the User CP under "Edit Options" a bit more than halfway down the page.

It is confusing. That really should be the default.

Hope that helps.

I couldn't find RSS feeds. Has RSS been activated?
I would rather monitor in my RSS manager then come to the site all the time.
