mcontrol and Switchlinc relay (23885)

I'd like to use the X10 SwitchLinc Relay module #23885 for a CFL load. I previously had a SwitchLinc 2384 in this location with an incandescent load and mcontrol was able to manage it fine. I have now switched modules and although my X10 remotes can manage the module, mcontrol does not. It appears from the log file that mcontrol is sending "on 0" followed by "on 100" to the switch. Can you suggest a way to simply send an X10 "on" command to this module? I don't believe this type of module will respect the "on 0" and "on 100".
