What do I need to use The Energy Detective? Which TED model? Do I need the TED software package (footprints)? What is needed in mControl?

Here's what you'll need:
1. A T.E.D. (see: http://www.theenergydetective.com/store) module which supports the USB interface. You'll want to get a T.E.D. module which supports your incoming
2. T.E.D. Footprints software
3. mControl driver for T.E.D. - this will be posted shortly in the Other Drivers section of the forum. If you would like the beta version, please email sales.
4. mControl v2.1 RCGOLD2 or RCGOLD3

Is this tool to measure how much power I use from my mains in real-time?
Can I by this software see how much my cost for the total power usage is every hour ?

If that is so, I think i need this :D

But I also want a logging system that can log my power usage every day\hour :)

hmm.. that is a nice tool :)
Not that I think I will save any more money.
But just cool to always know the exact power usage every time :D

My electric-company have a web-page where I can enter my kW usage so far, and then I can se how much the next bill will be..

Are there any screen shots of the energy monitor in mcontrol? I would like to see the level of detail that is available for display and get a feel for how it looks.
