You have four different ways to get support:

If you are contacting us about mControl, the following information allows us to answer your questions much faster:
  • The version of Windows you are running (Windows 2000, Windows XP Home, Windows XP Professional, MCE 2005 or MCE 2005 Rollup 2)
  • Method of accessing mControl (Internet Explorer or MCE)
  • Hardware and protocols being used (INSTEON, X10, IR, Cameras)
  • Zipped mControl log files
    (located in the C:\Program Files\Embedded Automation\mControl\logs directory)
  • Zipped mControl database
    (located in the C:\Program Files\Embedded Automation\mControl\data directory)
  • Windows Application Log
    (press the Start Button, then Administrative Tools, then Event Viewer, then "Application" entries, then the "Export List" button to save the log to a text file)
